Getting started with the CHOOOSE Climate App

There are three main functionalities in The Climate App: carbon calculation based on your travel data, access to a marketplace of vetted climate solutions, and the ability to address your carbon emissions through these solutions. And using these functionalities is as easy as 1, 2, 3! 

1. Measure and understand your carbon emissions 

When you log into the App, you get an overview of the carbon emissions associated with   flights, hotel stays, and ground transporation booked within Concur Travel—the App automates this process based on your underlying Concur Travel data.

2. Access a vetted marketplace of climate solutions

Access high-quality projects vetted by CHOOOSE in the App’s climate solutions ‘marketplace.’ You can filter by different interests or needs, such as regions where the projects take place or which Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) a project supports. In the marketplace, you get a clear, accurate snapshot of the available carbon credits and pricing of available projects, which you can buy with the click of a button. 

3. Address your travel emissions with the purchased credits

Once you’ve purchased carbon credits or Sustainable Aviation Fuel from the self-serve marketplace, you can easily deploy them against your company’s travel emissions. All in one place, you can track your purchase history, input notes for your records, and manage all the associated documentation: certificates of purchase, retirement certificates, and more.
